Rwanda Co-Hosts 3rd US-Africa Frontiers of Science, Engineering, and Medicine Symposium to Foster Global Scientific Collaboration
Rwanda is co-hosting the 3rd US-Africa Frontiers of Science, Engineering, and Medicine Symposium, bringing together outstanding young scientists, engineers, and medical professionals from the United States and Africa. During the next two days, the symposium will explore cutting-edge advancements in decarbonization, biotechnology, and precision agriculture, fostering interdisciplinary dialogue to drive transformative solutions with global impact. It also aims to strengthen scientific exchange and research collaboration within Africa and beyond. "By working together—across borders, disciplines, and sectors—we can develop solutions that are not only innovative but also inclusive and impactful. Let us engage in meaningful discussions and build lasting partnerships that drive progress. Together, we will create a more sustainable, equitable, and prosperous future for Africa and the world," said Pascal Gatabazi, Chief Technical Advisor, representing the Ministry at the symposium’s opening.
