MINEDUC receives a courtesy call from the Ambassador of China to Rwanda
Kigali: The Minister of Education Joseph Nsengimana received a courtesy call from H.E. Wang Xuekun, the Ambassador of China to Rwanda. Their discussions focused on further strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries in education.

1. Rwanda Polytechnic, Musanze College (formerly known as IPRC Musanze) Extension Grant Project 2019 to 2021.
2. Digital TV Grant Project, 2018 to /2019.
3. Rwandan Administrative Office Complex (AOC) Grant Project. (2016 to 2019).
4. 200-Borehole-Well Grant Project (2019 to 2022)
5. Phase 1 of New Bugesera International Airport Expressway Concessional Loan Project, (2019 to 2022)
Educational Exchanges
Joint programs: There is an ongoing cooperation between Jinhua University of Vocational Technology and RP-Musanze College. Through funding from the Chinese government’s LUBAN Workshop, the two institutions have jointly established programs in E-Commerce and Electrical Automation. As part of this collaboration, six well-equipped laboratories were set up to support these programs. Half of the students enrolled in these programs complete their final year of study in China. Currently, 30 students are participating in this exchange.
Staff exchange: RP-Musanze College staff benefit trainings in China and experts from China are dispatched to RP-Musanze College to support in different fields.
Scholarships
China offers scholarship programs that enable Rwandan students to pursue higher education in various fields at China universities. The scholarship program covers tuition fees, living expenses, and other related costs, making it accessible for Rwandan students. The total number of Rwandan students studying in China universities is 139 students.
